In 2016 Blaze was used at stud to Scarlet (Cashindie Dreams Of Elliot) and produced his final litter of 6 pups.  These pups were given the Kennel Club names of Royal Princes and Queens.  Zeb (then Alby) was sent to live with a family in Scotland, where although he was loved, things went awry and at 6 years of age, Zeb's owners contacted his breeder Julie for help.  They could not give him what he needed and he was not a happy boy.  Putting the needs of their dog first, they brought him back to Essex and Julie phoned me.  

There was no where else that Zeb would go besides home to me, where he was made.  I promise him I'll do everything in my power to give him the home he deserves, love him and lead him, give him a "job" to do, be it obedience, agility or even showing, if he'll let me.  I know it will take time to rehabilitate him, to integrate him into our family, for him to feel safe and secure and loved, but I'll work at it every day until I achieve this.  Blaze's boy deserves nothing less.

So pleased to report that in the few years we've had Zeb, he has taken to Scentwork like a duck to water.  He loves our one-to-one time spent searching for the scent tucked away in all sorts of hides.  He has successfully taken the ScentworkUK Level 1 trial and qualified at his first attempt!  He came 4th winning a green rosette, which is proudly displayed next to all my Crufts Qualifying rosettes, and is to me, equally as important.
